Infinix Zero Flip review – GSMArena.com tests

introduce

Infinix’s pioneering foray into foldable phones is here, with the Flip joining the brand’s higher-end Zero series phones. Closely related to one of the sister brands Tecno’s latest effortsThe Infinix Zero Flip isn’t really a first-generation product, but an established entrant into the clamshell-foldable space, and it’s also priced very reasonably.

The compact foldable phone comes with an alluring triple-camera setup, surrounded by a 50MP sensor, with details not even found on current-generation Galaxy phones. You get autofocus and flash for the selfie camera, and the ultra-wide angle on the back also has autofocus.

Both the 6.9-inch curved panel and the 3.64-inch large-screen cover display are OLED, both have a 120Hz maximum refresh rate, and you also get a ton of features on the cover. A generous 4,720mAh battery promises plenty of active time, while a 70W charging rating should ensure fast charging.

Zero Flip shows more budget capabilities in some areas, but there are some trade-offs that must be made. The chipset isn’t exactly a powerhouse, for example, although it should be good enough – about on par with the Razr 50’s chip. What the Razr does better, though, is waterproofing—the Zero Flip doesn’t have an IP rating. The software update policy isn’t great either.

Infinix Zero Flip Unboxing

In today’s context, a zero-flip retail bundle could almost be called a luxury. Not only do you get a charger (a pretty high-spec 70W charger) and a cable, but you also get a two-piece case with a finger holder. But that’s not all – a set of USB-C earbuds are also included – when was the last time you saw one of these?
