Intel rumored to launch a 24GB Battlemage GPU for professionals in 2025 — Double the VRAM capacity of its Alchemist counterpart, targeted at AI workloads

Intel seems poised to further increase VRAM capacity this generation because Qubits (Taken from Harukaze) Claims Intel plans to launch a 24GB Battlemage GPU next year. The report is further supported by a number of shipping listings, thanks to Thomas Goronski On the X, it is recommended to use a clamshell design on the BMG-G21 chip to mathematically accommodate 12 16Gb GDDR6 modules. Since the report states that this GPU is aimed at professionals, it is likely that it will be specified for Intel’s Pro series or Flex series. Take this leak with a grain of salt, as it’s not uncommon for GPU manufacturers to ship multiple cards for testing, many of which never see the light of day.

Intel officially launched Battlemage for the mainstream market this month, including the Arc B580 and the upcoming Arc B570. Of these GPUs, the B580 has been a hit; so much so that Intel now consistently outpaces supply with demand promising Restock weekly to maintain inventory. Rumor has it that Intel has prepared at least three Battle Mage molds; BMG-G31, BMG-G21 and BMG-G10. The BMG-G21 powers the Arc B580 and offers a 192-bit interface and 20 Xe2 cores.
