You all had a great time ^Evergreen PVP – Copy and remix it in a variety of creative ways. In fact, we have replicated over 1000 rooms, with some interesting looking spin-offs such as ^Flying_Island_Halloween_evergrown!
So…we bring you another exciting copyable game, ^Bonkers Hell! Based on the “Make it to Midnight” environment, the goal of the game is to use Bonky’s nifty hammer to hit your opponents into the lava or over the laser fence to get the highest score.
Since this room is replicable, you can grab your maker pen and explore all the circuits we used and even reverse engineer how we set up the game, or add your own props and decorate over the existing map. Want to go deeper? conduct experiments rec room studio Get more customization – giving ^BonkysInferno your own unique style by letting you edit the environment, change the lighting, or add new 3D models!
If you want to copy and remix the same map without all the lava, you can use our ^MakeItToMidnightRRS Template. We recommend using Rec Room Studio to edit scenes!
Clarification on what a replicable room is
Cloneable Rooms clone the entire experience into your own, allowing you to remix it yourself! Like any other room you have, you can use the Maker Pen to add your own props, decorate on top of an existing environment, or edit circuits to make game mechanics! However, rooms created using Rec Room Studio often contain objects (usually 3D models or environments) that can only be manipulated or edited using Rec Room Studio.
If you need assistance or have questions about how to copy, follow this guide.

We took some game mechanics from ^EvergrownPVP and iterated on them to create something new and interesting for this new clone:
- Collection system: Players can earn extra points by collecting pickups on the map. We used Circuits to create and reanimate these collectibles, and Rec Room Studio to give them custom animations, effects, and sounds. You could implement a similar collection system to provide point bonuses, power-ups, or interactive items to give players more goals and gameplay variety!
-
damage system: We also used circuits to implement a unique damage system that affects the player’s movement when attacked. You can even use the system to create your own custom mechanics – think of weaknesses, power-ups, or other creative ideas based on damage values!
-
Bonky’s Hammer Mechanics: We used Rec Room Studio to bring Bonky’s Hammer to life and added glow effects and animations to make every click visually exciting. With a circuit-based collision system, every swing feels responsive and powerful. You can use this setting to build your own close combat mechanics with a satisfying sense of impact, and try adding custom animations and effects to make your game items stand out even more!
-
game system: We designed a turn system using Circuits to manage turn times, player spawning, score tracking, and resetting the game at the end of each match. The framework is highly adaptable – use it to experiment and control the flow of gameplay in your own projects, easily setting up timed rounds, player respawns and custom win conditions.
-
HUD/in-game display: We’ve adapted ^EvergrownPVP’s display to show players round times, scores, and collectible rewards. You can use it to track key statistics in your game and keep players informed instantly.
