iOS 19 features imagined in new concept

It sounds impossible, but we’re just over six months away from the first one iOS 19 revealed. While there are few rumors about what to expect from the update, there are Designer Overs Offering some neat ideas on what iOS 19 can offer…

You can watch the full concept reveal video below. The most interesting feature for me is the ability to add stickers to the iPhone’s lock screen. Apple has put a lot of emphasis on customization in recent years, including home screen and lock screen widgets and app icon coloring. As part of iOS 19, it makes sense to allow people to pin their favorite stickers to the lock screen.

Another interesting idea proposed in the iOS 19 concept is a feature called “Flick” that will make it very easy to send photos and videos to others. The screenshot interface has also been revamped, new customization options have been added to the Messages app, and more.

As always, just because something is materialized in concept doesn’t mean it will actually appear in a future version of iOS. Still, the concept is an interesting way to get a feel for what people outside of Apple think about future versions of iOS.
