Nier The series will celebrate its 15th anniversary next year, and while a new game has yet to be confirmed, the game’s producer may have hinted at something for 2025.

I haven’t been with Nier series since day one, but I can definitely say that I am now a huge fan. Like many, I started in 2017. Nier: Slot Machineswho is now eight years old. Earlier this week, the official Nier Twitter account revealed that Automata has sold over nine million copies so far, which is great, but it’s clear that people really want news about the new game. There was a mobile game called Nier: Reincarnation, but it was canceled anyway, so if you want a sequel, you’re out of luck. Luckily, however, things aren’t all doom and gloom: series producer Yosuke Saito recently spoke about Nier, seemingly teasing that some kind of announcement could be made next year.

Within 4Gamer.net annual year-end interviews with famous Japanese game developers (translated Gematsu), Saito said about the Nier series: “2025 will be a landmark year as it marks the 15th anniversary of the Nier series, so I would like to do something about it! What should we do… maybe something with the next game, or events related to What… I heard the fans’ expectations. Although it’s a little complicated… However, since I will likely be doing less direct work as a producer, I would appreciate it if you could patiently wait for what comes next.”

This is not some kind of confirmation, just a confirmation of the intention to do something, but look, I will take anything!
