As a Senior Product Manager at MindsDB, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of product strategy for a major product or market, in this case our data roadmap and how we surface the most useful knowledge in all our data.
- Define and prioritize capabilities to drive business growth and market opportunities
- Drive the end-to-end product development life cycle for engineering, design and other stakeholders.
- Conduct user research to understand customer needs and translate insights into actionable product requirements.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Main responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of sourcing and integrated product strategies.
- Define and prioritize capabilities to drive business growth and market opportunities.

This position is seeking candidates who currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
What you will do:
- All kinds of data and ensure we can easily connect, process and present knowledge through Minds, a private AI turnkey solution across enterprise data
You will have:
- Expertise in data integration and processing:
- In-depth knowledge of data source integration (such as APIs, ETL pipelines or direct database connections) and experience with structured and unstructured data.
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade data platforms and distributed data systems (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Kafka).
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Background:
- Experience working with AI/ML driven products or platforms, particularly those leveraging generative AI, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), or similar technologies.
- Ability to translate AI capabilities into clear, actionable business use cases for enterprise customers.
- Enterprise product experience:
- Proven track record of building and launching enterprise-grade solutions with a focus on scalability, security and compliance (e.g. SOC 2, GDPR).
- Understand the challenges associated with enterprise adoption of new technologies, such as data privacy issues and stakeholder coordination.
- Technical acumen:
- Practical familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), query languages (e.g. SQL), and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and serve as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders.
- Strategic Vision:
- Experience developing product roadmaps that align with company vision and customer needs, focusing on strategic differentiation in competitive markets.
- Strong communication and collaboration:
- Demonstrated ability to articulate product vision and present complex technical concepts in a simple, compelling manner.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales and marketing.
- Customer-centric mindset:
- Ability to work closely with customers to conduct in-depth user research and translate insights into actionable product requirements.
- Demonstrated focus on solving real-world customer challenges and achieving measurable results.

- Be familiar with open source development models and participate in developer communities.
- Experience building and scaling open source products or contributing to open source projects.
- Understanding the trends in generative AI and private AI:
- Understand market trends in enterprise AI adoption, especially in secure AI, knowledge management, and data democratization.
- Entrepreneurship experience:
- Proven success in fast-growing startups, especially those focused on artificial intelligence, data platforms, or SaaS products.
- Domain knowledge of target industry:
- Learn about industries such as finance, healthcare, retail, and technology and their specific data and AI challenges.
- Experience with enterprise databases or data platforms and technologies
- Building products from 0 to 1 has been a clear success.
