TL;DR

  • Lenovo unveiled a slew of Android tablets as part of its CES 2025 lineup.
  • The company introduced two Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 tablets, as well as two cheap tablets.
  • The new tablets range in price from $159 to $699.99.

Two Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 tablets

Lenovo has just announced the Legion Tab Gen 3, packing some impressive key specs into a small package. The tablet still works great Snapdragon 8 3rd generation chipset with improved vapor chamber cooling for more stable performance. This bodes well for mobile gamers, so we hope that demanding games and apps won’t experience any major performance issues after a while.

Other notable specs include an 8.8-inch 165Hz (2560 x 1600) screen, 6550mAh battery, and 45W wired charging support. The rest of the specs include Bluetooth 5.4, two USB-C ports with bypass charging support, a 13MP rear camera and an unspecified secondary camera, an 8MP selfie camera and Wi-Fi 7. Unfortunately, the tablet ships with Android 14. 15 and there is no word about update policy for now.

The company has also introduced the Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus (above) in case you want a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 tablet with a larger screen. Expect a 12.7-inch LCD screen (2944 x 1840, 144Hz, 900 nits in high brightness mode) and a 10,200mAh battery with 45W wired charging. The rest of the specification includes Android 15, a pair of 13MP + 2MP rear cameras, a 13MP front camera, Harmon-Kardon speakers, and Wi-Fi 7.

Lenovo also says this is its first tablet with artificial intelligence built into the device, highlighting the Lenovo AI Now feature. The company bills it as a personal knowledge base that allows you to search and retrieve images and documents on your device. Unfortunately, both the AI note-taking assistant and the tablet’s AI Transcript feature require the cloud, which is a real shame in light of the “AI tablet on device” designation. The fact that the latter feature is limited to the cloud is especially disappointing since the Google Recorder app for Pixel phones has been offering audio transcription for many years.
