Lenovo’s New Legion Tab Gaming Tablet Looks Shockingly Awesome

Guys, Lenovo has released an Android tablet and it actually looks cool and is potentially worth buying. I can’t believe I’m saying this in 2024, but hear me out about this new one Lenovo Legion Tab 8.8 (3rd generation).

This Legion tab is labeled “Legion” because it is focused on gaming and Legion is Lenovo’s gaming brand. To live up to its name, Lenovo has installed a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor (last year’s best chipset, but last year’s chipset helps keep the price low), 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, a decent-sized 6,550mAh battery and powerful 45 W. charging and an 8.8-inch QHD display that increases to 165Hz at certain times.

This tablet also features dual speakers, dual USB-C charging ports (for charging and connecting accessories), has cameras you won’t worry about, and comes in Eclipse Black. It features a vapor chamber to keep the device cool during intense gaming sessions, support for ray tracing, and an all-metal design that delivers premium performance while weighing just 350g and 7.79mm thin.

Like, it looks beautiful. These specs are very good for an Android tablet, especially one that isn’t a huge 14-inch beast. I say Samsung has the wrong approach to tablets because I can’t imagine most people would want to hold a TV on their lap while they’re trying to consume content or play games. But this 8.8-inch tablet with high-end specs and a gaming focus could be just what the Android space needs.
