LG announces Radio+ streaming service
LG Radio+ is a new ad-supported audio streaming service for the company’s smart TVs. Thanks to a partnership with broadcast and audio provider Radioline, it offers podcast content from a variety of platforms as well as traditional radio programming. LG confirmed that Radio+ has more than 14,500 channels in the United States and more than 440 channels in South Korea.
LG Radio+ will offer popular podcast content from sources including NPR, CNN Radio, Fox Radio and The Joe Rogan Experience in the US, as well as local radio stations and podcasts in South Korea. The app also has a featured page where users can view popular music charts.
You need an LG Smart TV running webOS 6.0 and above to access the Radio+ app from the LG Content Store. Radio+ will also be available on the LG ThinQ app in 2025.
