Luna Ring Gen 2 Unveiled At CES With Class-Leading Battery Life

Indian technology company Noise has officially unveiled the Luna Ring Gen 2, the second generation. smart ring which offers intelligent AI capabilities and best-in-class battery life.

After the launch of the first generation ring in 2023, Gen 2 has hit the market. CES 2025hoping that this could reduce sales of the Oura Ring and many other rings that followed the success of Oura.

Like the original, the Gen 2 is made from titanium, which is the preferred material for most smart rings. It has a set of sensors that can track things like heart rate, stress, blood oxygen levels, and of course it will track your sleep time and daily movements.

As for these new AI capabilities, Noise says it will use your health and wellness metrics to improve your workouts and nutrition recommendations to make your ring experience more personalized. Noise isn’t the only one using artificial intelligence to add news features with Evie Ring adds AI-powered health assistant to your elegant ring designed for women.

Access to the new AI features will be free, along with the rest of the Luna Ring Gen 2 features, and will once again be available to iPhone and Android phone users.

In addition to these new smart AI features, Noise is also putting a big emphasis on the battery, promising up to 30 days of battery life on the Ring Gen 2. The original Luna Ring offered up to 7 days of battery life, so that’s a significant jump. This means it will provide longer battery life than Oura Ring 4 (7-8 days), Samsung Galaxy Ring (7 days) and the current battery is superior RingConn Gen 2 (10-12 days).

Pre-orders for the Luna Ring Gen 2 will begin on January 9, 2025, with delivery scheduled for March 2025. Noise tells us that the Luna Ring Gen 2 will be available online in the US and UK and will be hitting retail stores for the first time. half of 2025.

While we’re still not convinced by the early attempts to combine AI and smart rings, we can definitely get on board with a smart ring that lasts a month.
