More Android phones can now start using Google’s version of Apple Handoff

It’s not uncommon for Apple to borrow features from Android. At the same time, Google occasionally takes inspiration from iOS. A good example is Android’s cross-device service, which mimics Apple’s Handoff feature. Officially announced back in May, the feature was only available on select devices, but is eventually starting to roll out to more devices Android phone.
If you’re new to cross-device services, it lets Android phones and tablets talk and collaborate with each other on the same Google Account. So if you start a video call on your phone and decide to continue the chat on a larger screen, you can transfer the call to your tablet without having to rejoin the call. You can also let one device share a hotspot with another device without having to find a network and enter a password.
The feature has already been released on Pixel phones and Galaxy devices, but many users who own phones from other Android brands have been patiently waiting for the feature to roll out. However, it looks like more people will soon be able to take advantage of this cross-device integration.
