However, Reith noted, the industry is a bit ahead of the curve when it comes to AI-powered PCs. While they will become the norm someday—after all, all modern laptops and desktops contain some sort of artificial intelligence—this is more of a long-term trend.
That’s especially because “budgets are tight across the board,” Reith said. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a technology company or a healthcare company or anything else. When the AI appears, it asks, “Hey, how much is this going to cost?” It’s all about the dollar.”
