Nanoleaf’s new lighting products at CES support Matter
Canadian smart home brand Nanoleaf unveiled several new smart home products at CES 2025, including its first floor lamp and a new software subscription.
Most intriguing for Apple users will be the new Smart Multicolor floor lamp, equipped with LED backlighting with more than 16 million colors, music synchronization and gradient effects.
It has an ultra-thin design and is suitable for many spaces. already available for pre-order from Nanoleaf website for $99.
It works through Matter over Wi-Fi, including the Apple Home app, or through the Nanoleaf app for more granular controls and multi-color effects.
In addition to the new floor lamp, Nanoleaf is also offering a new light strip for the PC screen mirror. Aimed at gamers and video users, it features a zig-zag design that allows it to wrap around the screen without additional brackets.
The light strip can be connected to a computer and work with the Nanoleaf desktop application. Two lights can be connected to one for a dual monitor setup and will respond to your screen in real time.
Nanoleaf says prices will change closer to launch, which will occur in the second quarter of 2025.
Likewise, Nanoleaf has a new 4D V2 light strip for your living room TV. It’s easier to install and features the same updated zigzag design as the monitor version.
The new 4D V2 also features a new, stronger, longer camera mount to help accommodate wider screens. Using a camera allows light sources to react in near real time.
Nanoleaf 4D V2 will be released in the second quarter of 2025, with prices to be announced later.
Finally, Nanoleaf has a new premium software subscription that will help take your lighting to the next level. It provides access to new Orchestrator and Scenescapes features for your lights.
Orchestrator is music software that not only synchronizes lighting with the beat, but also defines more themes in the music to create more complex lighting effects that match the style of the music.
It also connects directly to your PC’s audio sources for better visuals without interference.
Finally, Scenescapes helps you immerse yourself in relaxation. It combines lighting effects with advanced lighting effects including beach or fireplace.
Nanoleaf Premium launches now on the Nanoleaf desktop app with a free one-month trial and then costs $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year.
