New Apple TV and HomePod mini reportedly coming in 2025

According to Mark Gurman, Apple’s rumored Bluetooth and Wi-Fi combination chip may be launched with some of the company’s home products in 2025, including the new HomePod Mini and Apple TV. Burundi.

Apple’s new chip, codenamed “Proxima,” is intended to be a major transitional change for the company’s devices and reduce its reliance on Broadcom, which makes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi components for various devices in Apple’s product line. Sources who spoke to Gurman said the chips have been in development for several years and will be produced by TSMC – the same manufacturer that also makes Apple Silicon chips.

Gurman did not specify when the new HomePod Mini and Apple TV would be launched next year. Gurman said Proxima chips could also appear in iPhones later in 2025, and in iPads and Macs in 2026.
