New ‘HomePod’ With 7-Inch Display, A18 Chip, and More Reportedly Launching Next Year
According to reports, Apple plans to release a new “HomePod” in 2025 with a 7-inch LCD display, A18 chip and support for Apple Intelligence arrive digital age.
It’s unclear how much the screen-equipped HomePod will cost, but Apple seems to be aiming for a reasonable price. In a paid report this week, the supply chain publication said Apple has selected Chinese manufacturer Tianma to supply LCD panels for its devices at a “highly competitive” price of $10 per panel. The low cost of the component may help the device become more affordable.
Rumors about a HomePod equipped with a screen have circulated numerous times over the past few years.
