The seamless update feature was launched by Google in 2016, but Samsung only adopted this feature in March this year. Galaxy A55 is the first Samsung smartphone to feature this feature.
For those who don’t know, the Seamless Updates feature allows updates to be installed on Partition B while you continue to use the phone in Partition A and reboot the phone once the installation is complete. This keeps the device available during the installation process and only becomes unavailable on reboot, meaning you don’t have to wait several minutes for the entire installation process to complete before you can use your phone.
