Jayden Daniels led the Commanders to the playoffs in his first season in Washington. Led by a sensational rookie quarterback, the Commanders finished the season 12–5, securing a berth in the Wild Card playoffs and a fifth-place finish in the NFC. Daniels will try to earn the franchise’s first playoff victory in two decades on Sunday night against Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers. The Bucs won the NFC South 10-7 and will host this Wild Card game as the fourth seed.
The game “Commanders-Buccaneers” begins tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (5:00 pm Pacific Time). It can be viewed nationally on NBC or streamed on Peacock.
