Thanks for being built on the latest Nothing OS 3.0 Android 15we discovered clues related to some specifications and other details of the upcoming Nothing smartphone.

We found the codename asteroid, asteroid plusand caragawhich may be related to the upcoming Nothing phone. based on benchmark leakthe codenames are said to be Nothing Phone 3a (asteroids), Nothing Phone 3a Plus (asteroids_plus) and CMF Phone 2 (galaga)).

Additionally, we’ve found plenty of clues that the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, while the CMF Phone 2 will run on a MediaTek SoC.

In addition to the SoC, we also found more clues that the Phone 3a may have a telephoto lens, while the Phone 3a Plus may opt for a periscope zoom camera. If this succeeds, the Phone 3a series may be the first in the Nothing series to switch to a dedicated sensor for optical zoom, as previous Nothing Phones have featured wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle rear camera setups.

We also found clues about another interesting change – the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Plus may be the company’s first eSIM-enabled phones. Users may be able to achieve a dual-SIM configuration using two physical Nano-SIM cards or an eSIM and a physical Nano-SIM card. However, this is unlikely to be extended to the CMF Phone 2 as it will likely only use a physical SIM card.
