nubia Focus 2 5G leaks through certification, shows a new design

here we go again – ZTE publishes certification documents on its website, even for phones that haven’t been officially released yet. The latest exposed model is nubia Focus 2 5G (model Z2462N).

original focus Launched earlier this year, it’s an interesting device – a budget phone with a 108MP camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging. There is one Focus Pro This model upgrades the screen from 6.56-inch HD+ to 6.72-inch FHD+ (IPS LCD in both cases), adds OIS to the 108MP camera, and includes a 5MP ultrawide camera.

We don’t know much about the Focus 2, but the EU declaration of conformity contains a low-resolution photo of the device. There appear to be three lenses, but the JPEG compression makes it hard to tell. The original model only had two lenses (108MP camera and 2MP secondary lens), so this one may have an ultra-wide angle.

We also found a Wireless network certification (PDF), which lists the operating system as “Android V” (aka Vanilla Ice Cream, also known as Android 15) and shows 2.4GHz and 5GHz support for Wi-Fi 5 (ac). this Bluetooth Certification doesn’t add much.

The nubia Focus 2 5G will feature next-generation connectivity, and of course, the original Focus also had 5G. However, judging from previous leaks, ZTE seems to be developing 4G Focus 2 as well. The company may skip the “Pro” model this year and let the 5G model serve as the higher tier.
