As someone who’s known for doing odd jobs around the house, I really should kick the proverbial bucket out of the water first.
Instead, I wasted guessing that the Hornet’s Nest and Pandora’s Box belonged to the same group of four ships, and mistakenly assumed that the Golden Fleece was a famous ship (that was the Golden Stag). I’ve never heard of it apple OF DISCORD before, and while it did sum up my MacBook issues over the years, today it was AEGIS that helped me bring it all together.
Not seeing any connection to the last few groups, I stared at the words for a few minutes, and then my brain clicked and I noticed “her,” “his,” “its” at the beginning of the purple group of words. and “my”.

What is the New York Times Link?
NYT Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games produced by The New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four items that have something in common, each with a different difficulty level: green is easy, yellow is a little hard, blue is usually very hard, and purple is usually very hard.
On the bright side, technically you don’t need to solve the last question because you can answer it by process of elimination. What’s more, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you a little breathing room.
However, it’s a bit more complex than a game like Wordle, and the game has plenty of opportunities to trip you up with tricks. For example, be on the lookout for homonyms and other wordplay that might obscure the answer.
It can be played for free via New York Times Gaming Website On desktop or mobile device.
