OM SYSTEM Launches OM-3 MFT Camera: A Classic Look with Modern Tech

System OM (previously known as Olympus) launched the OM-3, a free Micro Four Thirds camera, which mixes a vintage style with modern functions. Inspired by the 1972 OM-1 film camera, OM-3 has a classic look with physical dials, but includes advanced digital tools for modern photographers.
OM-3 is built for photographers that enjoy manual control. It has dedicated dials for ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation, which allows you to easily adjust the settings on the fly. While he looks like an old school, inside he packs a 20.37-megapixel sensor with a reverse-cutter and the Truepic X Image processor. The company promises that this combination provides rapid performance and sharp image quality.
An outstanding function is the computing photograph button. This gives quick access to creative tools, such as Live ND filters, focusing and shooting with high resolution. These functions allow you to create unique images without the need for additional editing.
The Autofocus OM-3 system uses AI for more accurate tracking of items, regardless of whether you shoot in the wild, sports or portraits. It also has a stabilization of the image in the body (IBIS) with stops up to 8.5, helping to capture sharp images in low light or when using the slower shutter speeds.
For the creators of the video, OM-3 records 4K to 60 frames per second, making it a firm choice for hybrid shooters. His body, obtained by the weather, is built to process hard conditions, which makes it a reliable tool for open photography.
