One UI 7 beta 3 starts rolling out for Galaxy S24 series

Platform updates on Samsung devices take a long time, mainly because the company makes extensive changes to the Android platform. When Android 15 was announced in October 2024, after which Samsung announced that One interface 7 (based on Android 15) will only arrive in the stable branch with the “next Galaxy”, i.e. Galaxy S25 Series. Samsung took its time to launch the One UI 7 beta program and now the company has finally started rolling out the One UI 7 3 beta!

User X (formerly known as Twitter) Robbie Rankin hastened to talk about the release of the beta version of One UI 7 beta 3 in the UK, the update build number of which ends in ZXLJ.

The Beta 3 update is rolling out to Galaxy S24 series users who have already registered for the beta. Samsung hasn’t named the regions for rollout, but we believe the new update is rolling out to users in the US, UK, Germany, India, Poland and South Korea – regions that previously received Beta 2.

What’s new in One UI 7 beta?

Here’s the official changelog for One UI 7 Beta 3 compared to the previous Beta 2 update:

• Eliminates vertical scrolling inconvenience when aligning the app bar.
• Game Booster > Change default screen playback settings
• Game Booster > Change FPS Setting Name and Max Value
• Game Booster > Set default scan rate to 120 Hz
• Samsung Message > Change exception when saving MMS image
• Improved quick close panel operation.
• Change so that the navigation bar does not appear on a specific path.
• Battery icon fix on lock screen/AOD/status bar, notification icon alignment bug.
• Fix bugs related to lock screen editing.
• Fixed shortcut icon disappearing on the lock screen.
• Fixed an issue with the volume key when using Routine+.
• Edge panel > Tools not showing changed
• Many other improvements
