One UI 7 Beta 3 unexpectedly removes useful Now Bar options, but hope remains

Samsung just released One interface 7 Beta 3 for eligible Galaxy S24 phone numbers yesterday, January 6th. However, these are not all the new features and improvements included in the software update. Apparently, the company also included temporary downgrade to One UI 7 Beta 3: The Now bar has been lowered slightly. The Now panel is somewhat similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island and is designed to quickly display key information from applications. Before this beta, the Now Bar supported Live notifications for several apps, including the Clock app, Emergency Sharing, Bixby, Interpreter, Samsung Health, Maps, Voice Recorder, and Samsung Notes.

WITH One interface 7 Beta 3, most of these options have been removed. The Now panel now only shows live notifications for Translator, Clock, and Emergency Exchange, as you can see in this screenshot:

The change was first noticed by a beta user who posted a complaint on the Samsung US community forums. The complaint received a response from a Samsung beta moderator stating that the change is not a bug but an “intentional improvement.”

Fortunately, the moderator also said that these features will become more accessible after the official version is released and after Samsung makes improvements to them. However, the moderator did not specify exactly what improvements Samsung is preparing.

The moderator also adds that the Now panel is still being refined through beta. One interface 7. It’s highly likely that Samsung will bring back the missing Live Notification options, and these will also likely be improved when the stable version comes out. One interface 7 reaches suitable phones.

Stable version One interface 7 will be launched simultaneously with Galaxy S25 telephones. Unpacked event when we officially meet Galaxy S25 the trio is now scheduled for January 22nd, so save the date!

I don’t believe Samsung will permanently remove these Live notifications, so there’s no reason for you to worry about it right now. Let’s see how things stand with the officials. One interface 7so we’ll have to be a little more patient to know for sure, but my guess is that they were just temporarily removed in beta 3.
