One UI 7 changes refresh rate settings for games

Samsung Gang Released the second beta version of One UI 7its skin is based on Android 15, and a new feature included in this beta changes how you set your game’s update rate.

In older versions of One UI, you could limit your game’s frame rate to 48 Hz to save power. In the new skin, you can choose between 60 Hz and 120 Hz, there is no other choice.

A UI 7 Gaming motion smoothness setting

You can find this setting under Game Motion Smoothness in the Game Center/Game Booster app. Samsung says this feature won’t affect games that have their own refresh rate settings. If you flip this switch, games that don’t support more than 60 Hz won’t magically start running at 120 Hz.

Game Booster now lets you individually adjust each game’s performance settings, such as maximum frame rate, resolution, and overall optimization level.
