OnePlus Open 2 / Oppo Find N5 release timeline outed along with more specs

Today, new rumors from China shed further light on the phone, which will likely be sold under two different names. According to the Weibo digital chat station, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and will be thinner (and Impressive) and is lighter than its predecessor while also boasting longer battery life.

It is said to be the only flagship foldable smartphone running Android to be released in the first half of next year. Open 2 / Find N5 will support wireless charging and have an IPX8 waterproof rating. It also apparently features a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera on the rear and a “shatter-resistant body structure,” which sounds interesting when translated to the machine. Of course, the device will run Android 15, ColorOS 15 in China and OxygenOS 15 globally.

Oppo Find N5 is said to be officially launched before the end of March. It’s unclear how soon the OnePlus Open 2 will be launched.
