We took a deep dive into the latest version of the OHealth app (version 4.30.11_e27d199_241122) and discovered various upcoming features that may be coming to the OnePlus Watch 3 series. First, the app now supports EKG functionality. A screenshot of this feature (shown below) mentions that it can detect atrial fibrillation, frequent early ventricular beats, high or low heart rates, etc.

A screenshot also shows that your phone must meet certain requirements to use ECG in the OHealth app. Luckily, you can also use the EKG feature directly on your watch.

This isn’t the only new measurement option on the OnePlus Watch 3 series. We also found a wrist temperature feature in the Health app. Users need to establish a baseline temperature by sleeping with the watch on for at least five days and at least one sleep session that lasts four hours or more.

The OnePlus Watch 3 series is also expected to get a so-called 60-second check feature. This brief exam uses seven health indicators to scan for three major health risks (heart health, blood vessel elasticity, and sleep snoring). These include blood oxygen levels, electrocardiogram measurements, sleep, vascular age, and more.

Finally, the companion app will get a Health tab with Health Insights and Health Journey features. The former feature will display long-term insights on the app’s homepage, while the latter displays “key workout and health events of the day.” These activities include sleep, steps, exercise, etc.

We’re guessing some of these features will eventually Works with older OnePlus Watch models such as one plus watch 2. But it stands to reason that all these features will debut on the OnePlus Watch 3 series first. Otherwise, the leak suggests the new watch could be an incremental upgrade.

one OnePlus Watch 3 leaked recently confirmed the aforementioned wrist temperature and ECG capabilities, while adding that the watch will offer a “rotating dial” for system navigation. It is also believed that the watch may have similar core specifications to its predecessor, namely a Snapdragon W5 chip, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a larger than 500mAh battery. So we hope that the Watch 3 Pro can take this to the next level.
