Open artificial intelligenceThe latest version of the project in ChatGPT addresses the need to organize files and conversations on ChatGPT. This function is similar to GoogleVery popular NotebookLM application.

The feature is reminiscent of Google’s NotebookLM, although that app is better suited for research. Unlike NotebookLM’s audio overview, projects on ChatGPT do not offer podcast narration. However, project users on ChatGPT can still access other ChatGPT features within the conversation, such as voice mode, web search, and Canvas.

OpenAI plans to expand the file types supported by Projects next year and add connections to Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. The company will also provide the option to switch models through projects.
