Oppo A5 Pro announced with Dimensity 7300 SoC, IP69 rating, and 6,000 mAh battery
this OPPO A5 Pro We’ve been hearing since last month that it had been officially unveiled. It features a 6.7-inch 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The display also has a central punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera and a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication. At the back, you have two cameras – a 50MP main camera and a 2MP black and white camera.
Oppo A5 Pro is equipped with Dimensity 7300 chip, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage space. The smartphone boots ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, but it’s unclear how many years of software support it will get.
That said, the Oppo A5 Pro comes with IP66/68/69 protection, military-grade GJB150A-2009 certification, and 360-degree drop resistance. It also features symmetrical low-frequency antennas on both ends of the frame to provide better signal strength.
Other highlights of the Oppo A5 Pro include a 6,000 mAh battery, 80W charging, 5G support, stereo speakers, NFC and a wet touch mode for the screen that can be operated with gloves on.
Oppo A5 Pro comes in four configurations: 8GB/256GB, 8GB/512GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. The base model is priced at CNY 1,999 ($275/€265/INR 23,330), the high-end version is priced at CNY 2,499 ($340/€330/INR 29,165), while the 8GB/512GB and 12GB/256GB versions It is CNY 2,199 (USD 300 / EUR 290 / INR 25,665). These products will be available in China from December 27 through Oppo’s Chinese website.
