Poco C75 5G hands-on review

introduce

The Poco C75 5G is the latest entry-level model in the company’s lineup and the successor to last year’s C65. The C75 is essentially a rebranded version of the Mi A4 with very minimal design differences. There’s also a non-5G variant of the C75 5G we’re looking at here, which has a different chipset and front-facing camera.

If you know the A4, then you already know what to expect from the C75 5G. There’s a 6.88-inch 720p LCD on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Helio G81 chip on the non-5G model has been replaced by a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2. Finally, there is a 5160mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Xiaomi Poco C75 5G specifications at a glance:

  • Miscellaneous: Fingerprint reader (side-mounted); virtual proximity sensing.

The C75 5G is priced at INR 8,499, which is the same price as the Redmi A4, which is a strange decision since the A4 is better in some aspects. Let’s see how this phone performs.

Unboxing

The Poco C75 5G comes in a basic package that includes the phone, a data cable, and a basic 10W charger.

Like the A4 5G, the C75 5G does not include a case in the box. However, the A4 does come with a 33W fast charger, while the C75 only comes with a standard 10W charger. Considering this phone only supports 18W charging, the difference won’t be huge, but it’s worth considering.
