Although super league and Master League There haven’t been many new Pokémon in a while, and the lower cap in the Major League means any new Pokémon has a chance. Man, some of the new Pokémon really made an impact.

Despite being a recent addition, Galariel Corsola is taking the major leagues by storm, ultimately becoming a mainstay in Toronto’s recent regional run. Additionally, another new addition, Morpeko, was initially so powerful that it had to be banned from competitive play, although it’s now back after some tweaks.

Finally, Starfish learns Psywave and Surf, rounding out the Pokémon’s movepool and adding to the Pokémon’s already impressive resume.

While Major League is all about Pokémon with a CP under 1,500 and is free for everyone, there are a few different formats for Major League in the upcoming calendar. For the sake of brevity, this guide is just a general Major League guide for the foreseeable future of Standard.

Finally, when it comes to overall changes to the Major League and Go League, Seasons 20 and 21 saw some big changes on the competitive side. Pokémon Goespecially some of the movement buffs – increased damage from Thunder Fist, Ice Fist, and Fire Fist. Meanwhile, some of the new moves have made a huge impact, such as Bibarel learning Rollout and Gliscor learning Sand Attack, if your team prefers either one.

Recommendations for the best teams in Major League Baseball

Since the CP is capped at 1,500, you should be able to get most of these Pokémon without any problem. Here are our top team recommendations for the major leagues:

  • Claude Sil, Galariel Corsola, Pangolo
  • Mandibuzz, Diggersby and Primeape

Let’s look at them individually.

Claude Sil, Galariel Corsola, Pangolo

oh Claude Silmost of them rank first, and they are also the first in our hearts. Although the newly evolved Pardian Wooper looks inconspicuous, he is actually a huge threat. This is mostly due to excellent defensive typing and stats, as well as some very handy moves. The dual poison and ground types make Clodsire a threat to many common threats such as Azumarill and Drapion.

You want to use Stinger as a fast move to generate power quickly, and then use Charge to move Sludge Bomb and Earthquake. Just like in the mainline game, Earthquake is simply one of the best offensive moves across the board, and can only be furthered here via STAB rewards. However, if you have problems with Pokémon like Talonflame, you can run Clodsire using Stone Edge instead of Sludge Bomb, but Earthquake must remain.

Introduction of regional format Pokemon sun and moon has become a most popular feature among the community, and perhaps no other Pokémon utilizes this feature as cleverly as it does Galayan Kosola. Galarian Corsola is inspired by the bleached coral found on the Australian coast and other real-world locations, featuring ghostly white skin tones and ghostly types.

Also, yes, you’re probably wondering why Galari Corsola is here instead of its evolution, Cusola, it has to do with the way the stats are distributed. Since Galari Corsola has high defense and stamina but low attack power, it can be upgraded quite far before reaching the 1,500 CP cap. However, Kusola trades its size for attack, ultimately making it more vulnerable.

Galarikosola is a pure Ghost-type, which unfortunately leaves some glaring weaknesses for Ghost- and Dark-type Pokémon, which is what counters like Mandibuzzi, Morpeco, and Pangoro have Useful place.

Finally, like many teams, on shopping cart This is for dealing with teammates, as it will help you knock down any opponent’s Galari Corsola. The powerful Pangoro is a dual Fighting- and Dark-type Pokémon, making it resistant to Ghost, Psychic, Dark, and Rock-type Pokémon. STAB’s enhanced fast-moving Karate Slash can quickly build up energy and cause problems for other Dark-type Pokémon like Marama.

Then, put pressure on common enemies like Diggersby, Dunsparce, and Bibarel with a mix of melee and night-slashing charge moves. Your main problem is to find a Pancham with an ideal IV distribution of 0/15/15, since it can currently only be hatched from eggs.

  • Galarian Corsola Alternatives: Decidueye, Drifblim and Dragapult
  • Pango Substitutes: Machamp (Shadow), Primeape (Shadow), and Greninja

Mandibuzz, Diggersby and Primeape

Dark and Flying Rivals Mandibaz There’s some good coverage and solid attack stats to back it up. STAB Snarl and Dark Pulse are a big problem for Galarian Corsola, while Aerial Ace helps catch some grass-based threats like Jumpluff.

A lot of people might be tempted to swap Mandibuzz for Pangoro, and their roles are indeed very similar, so it mostly depends on how you want to choose. Primeape is a great teammate for this team, filling the offensive brawler role left by Pangoro and helping take down the bulky normal threats like Dunsparce and Diggersby.

speaking of digsbynormal and ground-type rabbit Pokémon have recently risen in rankings due to the increased power of moves such as Fire Punch. Use quick attacks to gain energy quickly, and luckily Digsby has impressive attack stats that can take on some larger opponents.

The charged move Fire Punch helps deal with some of the big league Steel and Grass type threats like Steelix and Jumpluff, while Searing Steps is a great choice for a second charged move. This ground-type move is awesome and has helped Digsby win some key wins against Pokémon like Drapion, Clodsire, and Morpeko. Be careful, as it has four weaknesses.

Finally, what makes this team better are humble people first. Another option, you want the smaller form instead of evolving, the reason Primeape outdoes Annihilape is because the former can learn karate chop, the latter can’t. This powerful move quickly generates energy quickly and really helps take out large normal threats, but if you don’t already primeape with this move you’ll be spending EliteTM.

Rounding out the package, Primeape also has the charge move Furious Fist and Melee Fighting, which is probably the best option. However, if you want to catch your opponent, ice punch is sometimes a viable option. Despite this, the melee STAB fighting-type powerhouse still excels at taking out opponents like Mandy Bass, Dunspas, and Digsby.

  • Mandy Bass Alternative: Ombrun, Galian Moltres. and Honchkrow (Shadow)
  • Digsby Alternative: Clodsire, Lickitung and Hippowdon (Shadow)
  • Primeape alternatives: Pangoro, Machamp (Shadow) and Gallade (Shadow)

All in all, the most exciting thing about the major leagues is that there are so many viable options. We’ve picked a few here, but there are still some huge threats like Malamar, Bibarel, Starmie, and even Miltank. This means you can experiment and get them as close to the 1,500 CP cap as possible without spending too much candy.

At the same time, as mentioned earlier, although Master League Requires an IV as close to perfect as possible, here you want to find Pokémon with 0 attack IV and high defense and stamina in order to get your Pokémon as high a level as possible before hitting the CP limit.

Finally, keep an eye out for new members in the Pokedex, as this alliance is the most malleable of all, with each new member having the opportunity to further alter the rankings.
