Rumor Replay: Apple’s M5 chip is coming, iPhone roadmap tease, and more – 9to5Mac

This is a repetition of rumors, a weekly column in 9to5MAC Offering a quick, brief presentation of the latest rumors in Apple products, with analysis and comments. Today: the Apple M5 chip comes with improvements to artificial intelligence, Tim Cook teases the iPhone road map and the expanding gaming support for Vision Pro. Here are rumors this week.
The Apple M5 chip is included in the mass production with AI update

We are still waiting for the M4 MacBook Air to fall on any day. But, it seems, it seems that Apple has begun the mass production of its upcoming M5. A Etnews The report says that Apple uses “a new process of processes to increase the performance of artificial intelligence (AI).”
My conclusions
I did not closely follow the models of past years, but the beginning of mass production of the M5 already seems especially curious.
Apple does not expect that they will send their first M5 products until the fall, when, according to rumors, new models of the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro will appear.
Last year, Apple shocked everyone, debuting her M4 chip in the iPad Pro in May. If Apple plans to launch the first M5 product for some time this spring, this would be as surprising, but the current instructions will not happen.
Apple surprised us last year, so maybe he will do the same again with the M5 debut.
Support for the PlayStation VR2 controller will probably appear in Visionos 3

Mark Gurman previously reported that Apple is working with Sony to attract support for the PlayStation VR 2 controller in Vision Pro. This week, he confirmed that the project is still in development, but probably will not appear until the “update of the software at the end of this year.”
My conclusions
The last report of the gourmet made him sound like an ad apple-PlayStation can be inevitable. Now, it seems, we will have to wait a little longer.
The new report does not indicate that Visionos 3 is the purpose of launch, so it is always possible that Visionos 2.4 can bring a new support for the controller. But “later this year” it seems to me a prediction of Visionos 3.
Tim Cook on the iPhone roadmap

It was a fairly easy week for rumors in an apple, but one interesting piece came directly from the General Director Tim Cook.
At the recent call, Cook hinted at exciting things on the iPhone roadmap. He said: “There is much more, and I could not feel more optimistic about our product … There are many innovations on the smartphone.”
My conclusions
In isolation, quote Cook can be easily interpreted as an empty rhetoric, an attempt to give investors confidence in the flagship product Apple.
But, as I explain here, we have an abundance of other reports to assume that in the near future some big changes will appear on the iPhone. The iPhone 17 of this fall will be offered a radically thin new form -factor, while a folding model next year (iPhone 18 times?) (IPhone 18 times?) Will receive an even newer design for Apple.
The iPhone looked largely the same for many years, but it seems that the changes are finally coming.
