Samsung could expand its Galaxy Ring options next month, literally

The Samsung Galaxy Ring attracted widespread attention before its launch. Samsung does want more people to try the ring, but one factor holding some people back may be the ring’s size. The company may soon address this issue by increasing ring sizes, possibly as soon as next month.

leaker Max Jamball On X (formerly known as Twitter) it was mentioned that the new size of Galaxy Ring will be available in January. The sizes are 14 and 15, code-named SM-Q514 and SM-Q515, with inner diameters of 23 mm and 23.8 mm respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring already comes in nine different sizes: sizes 5 to 13.

Samsung is also offering sizing kits so interested customers can know which ring size is best for them before spending money on a Galaxy Ring. It’s unclear if Samsung will also offer these ring sizes in its sizing kit, but apparently it will.

Unlike smart watches, where straps can be adjusted and replaced freely, the size of a smart ring is an integral part of the purchase process. If the smart ring is too small, the user will not be able to fit their finger in; if it is too large, it will not fit snugly for accurate measurements. Most smart rings don’t have any room for adjustment, so you have to know your size before buying one.
