The Galaxy S25 Edge might be even thinner than first reported (but at a cost)

Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series, but also teased the Galaxy S25 Edge and demonstrated the Slim Phone design. Now it seems that the device can be thinner than it first reported.
SmartPrix And Hemmerstoffer reports on the Line of Steve “ONLEVET” that the Galaxy S25 Edge will actually be a thin 5.84 mm, and not earlier, according to rumors, 6.4 mm thick. This is supposedly part of the attempt to defeat the auditory air iPhone 17. More specifically, the phone, as they say, measures 158.2 x 75.5 x 5.84 mm. The publication also noted that the edge of the S25 was actually 10 mm thick when accounting for the rear chamber.
The way out claimed that Samsung actually developed two prototypes. The first was 6.4 mm thick and had a triple chamber system, while the second prototype was 5.84 mm thick and had two rear chambers. Of course, it seems that Samsung took the last direction for the commercial device. Presumably felt that the presence of a super -thin phone was worth dropping the camera.

However, this thinner design is supplied with some compromises. Samsung previously confirmed the double system of the rear cameras instead of triple tuning the camera, which can be seen on the stables, but the exhaust point claims that this will consist of the main camera of 200 MP and 50 -megapixel lenses. This would be a serious departure from previous leaks that indicated a telephoto lens. Do not expect large enlarged pictures, although the main camera of 200 MP should deliver decent 2 -fold and 3 -fold pictures.
Another reported compromise is the 3900 mAh battery, which would actually be slightly less than the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 batteries. The phone should also receive a wired charge of 25 W, much behind the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra 45 watts.
Otherwise, Outlet claims that the phone will receive an eight -core Snapdragon 8 chipset. Thin form -factor can make adequate cooling with a problem, especially in the light of other elite telephones Snapdragon 8, so we hope that Samsung will take into account this.
