Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip FE will share a chipset you might not like
Samsung has apparently confirmed to Korean media that production of its Exynos 2500 is improving after months of struggling.
Therefore, the company plans to equip Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Flip FEIt is also expected to be implemented with the Exynos 2500 SoC in 2025. This is of course likely to cause considerable controversy, as the reputation of Exynos chipsets has not been amazing over the past few years.

Interestingly, the report doesn’t mention the Galaxy Z Fold7, so perhaps it could use Qualcomm chips. This makes sense, as the Fold series is the more enthusiast-centric of Samsung’s foldables, while the Flips is more mass-market oriented and style-focused. So if this wild speculation of ours is confirmed, it could be that the company doesn’t want to offend enthusiasts with its choice.
Exynos 2500 was originally supposed to be in Galaxy S25 series The report goes on to note that the yield issues encountered so far mean Samsung must turn to Qualcomm to produce these models.
