
Samsung is rolling out a smartphone subscription next month
It looks like Samsung is finally ready to roll out paid subscriptions for its AI-powered smartphones, but it might not look like what we expected.
“Starting next month, we will be rolling out the subscription service to Galaxy smartphones,” he says. “Ballie will be launched in Korea and the US first, and we plan to provide it as a subscription service in Korea.”
The AI Subscription Club is not a requirement to access Galaxy AI features on Samsung phones and other devices that the company carries. previously said will remain free for users until at least the end of 2025, plans for the subsequent period have not yet been confirmed.
The model currently gives Korean consumers the opportunity to sign up for a monthly subscription for their AI TVs, refrigerators, washing machines and more, including additional repair and maintenance services, for lower upfront costs.
