After several rumors and speculations, Samsung is finally announced date of the next Galaxy Unpacked event. The company is expected to present Galaxy S25 Series January 22. Typically, the South Korean firm releases three versions of Galaxy S phones at the beginning of each year. It may have an additional variant this year: the Galaxy S25 Slim (tentative title).
Is the Galaxy S25 Slim the fourth phone in this official teaser?
Samsung has released a teaser for the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, which will be held in San Jose, California, USA. This image shows the corners of four phones. We used to think it was just the Galaxy S25. Galaxy S25+And Galaxy S25 Ultraand one of these phones may have been used twice in the teaser.
However, we now think that these could be four different phones, and the fourth device could be Galaxy S25 Slimwhich has been rumored several times over the past couple of months.
Galaxy S25 Slim could be the name of an unannounced Samsung phone with Model number SM-S937B. The model numbers of all Galaxy S25 series phones are listed below.
- Galaxy S25: SM-S931B
- Galaxy S25+: SM-S936B
- Galaxy S25 Slim(?): SM-S937B
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: SM-S938B
However, this new model number (SM-S937B) is not as common as the other three model numbers. So this is speculate that the Galaxy S25 Slim may not be available for purchase until the second quarter of this year.
Galaxy S25 Slim Specs Rumored
Galaxy S25 Slim is according to rumors have an extremely thin design measuring 6 mm. It is expected to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB RAM, 200MP primary rear camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and 4700–5000 lens. battery mAh.
These specs, especially regarding the battery and telephoto lens, seem too good to be true. However, if the information is correct, this could be a great phone for those who don’t need an S Pen or a 5x zoom camera, but want a flagship chip and a big screen.
