flor systems inc. Announcing proof-of-concept demonstration of Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 jet plane solid state cooling technology International Consumer Electronics Show 2025.
If you haven’t heard of AirJet technology, it uses a solid-state airflow mechanism instead of traditional fans to provide efficient, quiet cooling. Frore Systems reports that this technology can increase laptop performance by up to 50% without making the device thicker or noisier. The company has previously demonstrated its AirJet solid-state cooling technology by integrating this solution with an SSD, resulting in good heat dissipation and sustained performance results.
this Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 It’s one of the thinnest laptops in its class, and the AirJet mode is said to further optimize its performance and portability design. According to a press release shared by Frore Systems, their AirJet cooling technology significantly enhances the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 14, boosting its performance from 12W to 18W by replacing traditional fans with four AirJet chips.
This change reduces the cooling system’s footprint by 45%, freeing up internal space and potentially increasing battery capacity from 55.9Wh to 64.8Wh, thereby extending video runtime by 16%, from 20 hours to 23.2 hours. The AirJet system also eliminates the need for fan inlet holes, allowing for a sleeker, dust- and water-resistant design while maintaining the device’s ultra-thin 10.9mm profile. Compared to the MacBook Air 15, the Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 with AirJet delivers superior performance and battery life, with 50% more sustained power and 29% longer video runtime.
Frore Systems says its AirJet technology is designed for next-generation notebook computers to meet the high-performance demands of compact, ultra-thin devices. Integration with the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 is an early sign of how advanced cooling solutions can improve thermal management without compromising portability or noise levels. AirJet systems are said to deliver sustained performance over extended periods of use, making them ideal for resource-intensive applications typically required by professionals and gamers.
It’s too early to comment on the performance of the solid-state cooling system, as this will be the first demo laptop to feature the new technology. A modified Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 with Frore AirJet technology will be showcased at CES 2025 next month.
