
Satechi’s M4 Mac Mini hub will launch in February for $99.99
First announced at the end of NovemberSatechi has confirmed that the Mac Mini M4 Stand and Hub will be available in limited quantities starting February 17, 2025. through your online store for $99.99. The wider release will begin sometime in March, according to the company’s announcement at CES 2025.
Made from aluminum with a soft-touch silicone coating, the hub is designed to enhance Apple’s functionality. Mac Mini M4 with two USB-A 3.2 ports on the front, a USB-A 2.0 port and an SD card reader.
The hub connects to your Mac Mini M4 using a built-in USB-C cable that can be stored on the underside when not in use. A recessed area at the top of the hub “supports airflow without obstructing the Mac Mini’s fan,” and a notch in the rear corner makes it easier to access the power button on the underside of the computer.
A removable panel at the bottom of the hub also allows you to expand the Mac Mini M4’s storage by installing an NVMe SSD; The hub supports SSDs of various widths and lengths with capacities up to 4 TB. For comparison, 4TB NVMe SSD from Western Digital is $299.99. Upgrading the base 256GB Mac Mini M4 to 2TB through Apple adds $800 to the price, while upgrading the 12-core 512GB Mac Mini to 4TB requires an additional $1,200.
