Satechi has revealed the release date of its Mac mini Stand and hub for the M4 Mac mini, available starting February.

Soon after introduction M4 Mac mini, Satechi announced it will release a new version of the Mac mini Stand & Hub for the pint-sized model. More information was finally revealed at CES, including pricing and availability.

The Mac mini Stand & Hub is a compact add-on designed to fit underneath the Mac mini. The baseboard connects to one of the Thunderbolt ports using USB-C and gives users a choice of additional ports beyond the existing Mac mini selection.

This includes three USB-A ports on the front, including two with speeds up to 10 Gbps using USB 3.2, as well as a USB 2.0 port. There is also an SD card reader on the front panel with data transfer speeds up to 312 MB/s.

The base also includes NVMe drive space with support for capacities up to 4TB. This effectively allows users to expand storage without the need for an additional drive enclosure.

At the back, a portion of the aluminum chassis is cut out to allow users to easily press the power button on the base of the Mac mini.

Satechi will begin selling the Mac mini M4 stand and hub with SSD enclosure with limited availability starting February 17th. price $99.99. Full availability is expected in March.
