Season 2 premiere, Mark returns to work after exciting finale

Apple TV+ already has long road Releases the second season of the popular science fiction series “The Departure”.

Now, after nearly three years without a new Severance episode, the highly anticipated second season is set to hit theaters in just a few weeks.

If you’re curious about what’s to come, Apple has released an exclusive preview of the first eight minutes of Season 2 to Apple TV+ subscribers.

The new season kicks off with Mark (played by Adam Scott) returning to Lumon for his first day back since the fateful events of the season 1 finale. Understandably, he was a little shaken.

Here’s Apple’s summary of the show, including a brief trailer for season two:

In Severance, Mark Scott (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries whose employees undergo a severance procedure that surgically separates their memories into work and personal Life. This bold experiment in work-life balance is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his job…and himself. In Season 2, Mark and his friends learn that ignoring severance obstacles can have dire consequences, setting them further down a miserable path.
