We love its simplicity and discrete design. It looks great everywhere, but it’s also discrete enough that it doesn’t really stand out. The fabric look blends seamlessly into any environment.

Sound quality is also excellent, at least for a speaker of this size and price. If you really care about audio quality, you’re better off buying a Google Nest Audio instead of an Amazon Echo 4th Generation. I have both and have always leaned towards Google’s media model.
Of course, one of the main differences between the two is the digital assistant powering each smart speaker. Nest Audio is powered by Google Assistant, which will be a nice treat for those invested in the Google ecosystem. Many of you already know and love Google Assistant, and it also happens to have Chromecast support. this is our complete Google Assistant vs. Amazon Alexa Comparison If you can’t decide which one is best for you.
amazon echo
Of course, smart speakers are not just about sound quality, the fourth generation Amazon Echo is also a good choice, especially at only $49.99. If you want to stick with Amazon devices, this is your best option. Of course, that’s before getting into the unreasonable prices $199.99 Echo Studios!
this amazon echo It still sounds pretty good, and the bass is pretty good for those who prefer a more punchy sound profile. At 5.7 by 5.7 by 5.2 inches, it’s larger than most other Echo speakers, and its spherical shape is more noticeable, especially if you get the Twilight Blue speaker. Likewise, this smart speaker is powered by Amazon Alexa. I happen to prefer Alexa when it comes to managing smart devices, setting alarms, and other more productivity-oriented tasks. I also feel like it does a better job of being more conversational.
It does come with some extra features! This one supports motion detection, which I like to use to turn on smart lights when I walk into a room. You can also use temperature sensors to automate smart thermostats or fans. It even has a built-in Zigbee hub that you can use as an eero mesh Wi-Fi repeater.
Bonus deal: Amazon Echo Dot for only $22.99
Its design is very similar to the Amazon Echo, but it is smaller at 3.9 x 3.9 x 3.5 inches. The sound isn’t as good as any of the other speakers here, but it’s still pretty good. It also happens to include most of the features you’ll find on its bigger brother, including motion detectors, temperature sensors, and eero mesh Wi-Fi support. The only missing feature is a Zigbee hub, indeed.
Note that only the charcoal model is available for $22.99. Other color models have returned to regular pricing of $49.99.
By the way, we wished we could recommend the Google Nest Mini as a replacement, but now it’s almost impossible to find it in new condition.
Do you get any of these? Don’t wait too long. Keep in mind that Google appears to be getting rid of its Nest Audio stocks, so these may be gone soon. Additionally, we’re not sure how long it will take for Echo prices to return to normal. These discounts are available as you wish.
