AirGo Vision uses an innovative design that prioritizes user privacy and personalization by seamlessly integrating the camera into the frame that plugs directly into the arms of the glasses. Solos’ proprietary SmartHinge technology with a USB Type-C connector allows users to easily switch between frames, giving them the option to use a camera-enabled frame or opt for a standard frame while keeping all other smart features active. This customizable approach offers flexibility and peace of mind, allowing users to decide when to use the camera and when to prioritize privacy.
Modular artificial intelligence integration and visual processing
With advanced real-time visual recognition capabilities, AirGo Vision can instantly identify people, objects, activities and text, and answer questions such as “What am I looking at?”, “What am I doing?”, “Translate text” and more. Maintain a glasses-first mentality
Solos puts glasses first, and each frame style is designed to be lightweight and comfortable, weighing only 42 grams, making it ideal for all-day wear. AirGo Vision will be available in two frame styles: Krypton 1 and Krypton 2, with seven color variations and more options, and can be customized with prescription lenses. Born out of Kopin, a company founded by MIT engineers, Solos combines wearable electronics with the comfort and style of traditional eyewear. The company has an IP portfolio of more than 100 patents and patent applications and is a four-time CES Innovation Award winner. It is similar to Meta’s Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, which have been selling well in Europe and other places.
