One of the accounts posting the videos had previously posted pornographic audio clips on Spotify. Another podcast account whose name consists of a long string of alphanumeric characters was also found to have been posting explicit videos since November.
A Spotify representative confirmed that the videos did exist but had “been removed” for violating the platform’s policy against explicit content. However, Spotify did not disclose how these pornographic videos got past its content moderation system.
Spotify app has no button Report these videos for content review immediately. Instead, one must copy the video URL and visit Platform’s content reporting page mark it.
