Users of the Nxtpaper 11 Plus tablet, launching later this year, will experience greater comfort thanks to optimized circular polarization technology and blue light reduction. This more closely simulates natural light.

And “unlike previous versions,” image clarity when reading small text or viewing high-resolution multimedia is achieved thanks to the so-called “advanced nanoarray lithography technology” that occurs during the etching process.

In terms of software improvements, Nxtpaper 4.0 has an AI-powered Smart Eye Comfort mode. It “adjusts screen settings based on eight usage scenarios, providing less eye strain whether you’re reading, studying, watching movies and entertainment, creating and viewing fine art, working, playing sports, using social media, or just going about everyday tasks . “

Nxtpaper 4.0 technology takes pride of place in the new tablet, the company’s first tablet to feature…drum roll please…artificial intelligence.

In addition to the aforementioned Smart Eye Comfort mode, there is a Personalized Eye Comfort mode that “can adjust display color, brightness, contrast and other visual parameters during setup to perfectly match personal habits and preferences.”

It features an 11.5-inch display with 2.2K resolution, 120Hx refresh rate, 550 nits of brightness for improved outdoor visibility, and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage.

Additional AI features include AI subtitles, an intelligent translator that works with voice, text, or images, and a Text Assist feature that makes your writing more efficient. Write Assist helps you compose your email. Smart Voice Memo will transcribe and summarize everything you record.

Price and availability will be confirmed later.

Elsewhere, TCL announced the world’s largest QD-Mini LED with the 115-inch X995 Max. It wouldn’t be CES without an obscenely large TV. There’s also a new Playcube projector with a “sleek, modular design that delivers portable, battery-powered viewing wherever you go.”
