Tea Loop – A/B testing with DevCycle

This is submitted to DevCycle Feature Tagging Challenge: Featured Logo Amusement Park

what i built

I built a Next.js application for a hypothetical startup called Tea Loop.

Background: Tea Loop started offering tea products, they started with 6 different tea flavors (honey lavender, raspberry mint, peach, pomegranate, rose lavender and black tea lemon) and they didn’t know which one would appeal more to their audience. That’s why they decided to show a different style every time a user visits their site, to gauge their interest they track every time a user clicks on the CTA (the button that says “Get it! $12.00”) where they can Find out this way which flavor is more appealing and advertise using that flavor before investing.

My development cycle experience

Personally I don’t have much experience in developing features but I love marketing so I knew DevCycle would be a great marketing tool and personally I think it should be emphasized more The marketing function demonstrates its capabilities to potential customers because people tend to be very results-oriented. I like that they offer a wide range of possibilities and adaptability to different technologies.

I experienced some bugs (obviously) and some difficulty understanding the documentation and how to implement it, but I had great customer support via Discord (Thank you Leslie and the DevCycle team for your amazing support and patience!), which was crucial for me to complete the MVP of this project. Overall, I think it has a lot of potential as a tool.

Additional prize categories

As mentioned above, I do use the API to get the metrics shown in the stats page:

Changes may take 5-10 minutes to update

Additional Notes: Some of the images were generated by Flux using AI; the repository is licensed under the MIT license, but it contains more license information for third-party content; I generated all or part of the results by clicking on the CTA button.
