Tech giants join forces to better support Chromium-based browsers – Computerworld

The Linux Foundation has unveiled a new collaborative organization called Proponents of Chromium-based browsers designed to ensure that Chromium-related open source projects receive the resources they need to succeed.

The group includes Google, Microsoft and Opera, companies that make Chromium-based browsers such as Chromiumedge and Opera. According to Meta, Facebook’s parent company, has also joined the collaboration. Ars Technique.
