Tecno demos Starry Optical Fiber technology

Tecno showcased its latest concept design featuring Starry Optical Fiber technology. It is a mixture of optical fibers and mini-LEDs placed inside the battery cover of a modified car. Phantom V Flip 2 to create a unique radiant image.

Tecno claims that Starry Optical Fiber technology involves 30 manufacturing processes and comprises 150 ultra-thin optical fibers combined with 108 mini-LEDs that have been carefully pierced with UV adhesive to form a fabric-like structure.

Starry Optical Fiber technology supports four lighting modes including Tidal Waves, Sunset Pink, Weekend Twilight and Aurora. Tecno guarantees that Starry Optical Fiber technology will not impact battery life and that it has been designed to maintain optimal heat dissipation inside the phone.

Tecno plans to showcase this technology at MWC 2025 in March, where we will try to get hands-on with it.
