
Tesla Cybertruck explosion outside Trump Hotel leaves one dead, FBI investigates possible terrorism
One person was killed and seven others were injured when a Tesla Inc. cybertruck exploded. near the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas in what may have been a targeted attack.
According to local media reportsA cybertruck exploded this morning around 8:40 am in the parking lot of a Trump-owned hotel. The Cybertruck stopped in front of the hotel when smoke began pouring out of the vehicle and then it exploded.
Of the seven victims, two were taken to hospital for treatment. The as-yet unidentified driver of the Cybertruck was the only fatality.
The explosion near the Trump Hotel may not have been just a coincidence. Authorities are treating the explosion as a possible terrorist attack, although investigators do not yet know whether the explosion was caused by a problem with the vehicle or something external that caused the explosion.

ABC News reports An official briefed on the investigation said the Tesla Cybertruck had a “load of fireworks-type mortars” on board and that investigators were urgently working to determine a motive and whether the driver intended to cause an explosion.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who co-heads the Department of Government Efficiency, went to X, where he first noticed that Tesla’s entire senior management was investigating the matter and that “we’ve never seen anything like it.”
IN second post onX Musk said, “We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by a very large firework and/or bomb located in the back of the rental Cybertruck and is not related to the vehicle itself” and that “all vehicle telemetry data was positive at the time X began.” time of explosion.”
In a third tweet, he said the explosion was “most likely an act of terrorism” and then linked it to the attack in New Orleans.
