That Elon Musk ‘Adrian Dittmann’ screenshot is almost certainly fake
Screenshot shows seems to suggest A source at edge.
The source claimed not to know Dittmann’s identity and said the image posted to 4chan’s /pol/ board did not reflect the actual interface available to those working for X. Post on MuskX’s page. In this screenshot, the X interface contains non-standard links to the Admin Portal and Blocked pages, implying that the user has special permissions on the site. But sources said none of these options existed for employee X who logged into his account. In fact, X employees will see the same interface as other users, with the possible exception of new features currently being trialled for widespread release.
Another source familiar with X’s operations confirmed edge The screenshots don’t match what employees see.
This suggests that other elements of the screenshot, such as the analysis link that appears only for the author of the post, are also deliberately fabricated, suggesting that Musk is secretly Dittmann. The hints were picked up overnight, and they circulated on social media along with other posts by 4chan users – most of which praised Musk and defended his X policy. Infighting with other conservatives over immigration.
It’s unclear who posted the screenshots. “Adrian Dittmann” is a long-time X user whose Musk fandom and vocal resemblance led to long-standing rumors that he was secretly none other than Musk himself. (Musk has plays his son on the websiteso it is not That A far-fetched assertion. User magazine Taylor Lorenz noted that Dittmann benefited greatly from speculation that they were Musk, and the doctored screenshots may have been Dittmann’s predisposition toward this. However, the 4chan posts could also come from unrelated copycats promoting Musk’s ideas as desperate forum posters. (I guess we can’t rule out Musk impersonating Dittman to add fake elements to the actual screenshots of his X account? But I’ll put that theory lower on the list.)
