The Heretic Prophet’ Video Game Set at Naughty Dog

The Last of Us studio Naughty Dog has revealed its next game in development for the PlayStation: StarCraft: Heretic Prophet.

Title trailer revealed in 2024 Game Awards Thursday marks what is being positioned as the final big announcement on the eve of the annual Game Awards.

Naughty Dog revealed that the game will star Tati Gabrielle as Jordan, and more casting details will follow. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will score the game.

Shortly after the indoor show at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann wrote in a post on the PlayStation Blog: “We’re back! You guys have been wondering what we’re going to do next. What, I’m excited to finally be able to answer: Naughty Dog’s next game is Star Wars: Heretic Prophet, a brand new adventure we’ve been working on since 2020! Becoming our craziest, most creative story yet.

He continued: “Astral stars our newest protagonist Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up trapped in Sempiria, a planet far away. A planet whose communications with the outer universe were paralyzed hundreds of years ago, virtually anyone who flies there hoping to unravel its mysterious past has never been heard from again.
